Toyota is coming kind of late to the game to start testing their own autonomous, electric vehicles, but Toyota just invested (2.8 billion USD) in the Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (or TRI-AD) to make sure they can begin testing their own electric autonomous vehicle around the year 2020.
